As part of our digital and social campaign for Hotel Transylvania 3, we came up with the idea for the characters to feature in Trivago’s summer poster campaign.
Initially an idea for social, Trivago invited us to take it a stage further and print it up for underground posters across London.
Acknowledging the move, Hannah Wickes, Trivago’s head of UK & Ireland, said: “With summer vacations just around the corner, Sony Pictures is paying homage to Trivago’s advertising to tease the release of Hotel Transylvania 3 – we do hope that the presence of Count Dracula on London’s tubes and buses will help families making last minute bookings avoid a monster bill.”
This definitely helped to boost awareness around the release of the movie alongside the core of the campaign which we created within social and digital channels. We created a broad spectrum of social content across Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook, as well as creating a number of digital display ads that were distributed across various platforms.
