Peter Rabbit is a cheeky hero who has captivated generations of readers. Our challenge was to show the modern approach to the story and bring the characters to a new and contemporary family audience.
We created social content across Snapchat to highlight the comic and also more mature storylines of the film. We posted dynamically animated social to convey the quality of the production.
We used Facebook to push out content to an older demographic and we used the all-star cast which included James Corden, Domhnall Gleeson, Rose Byrne, and Daisy Ridley as premiere day content to appeal to parents.
Video views across Facebook alone have totalled over 23m with engagement on Instagram and Facebook combined totalling over 500k. Our vertical Snap Ads delivered very strong results with over 700k views. Box office takings have been huge with over £40m in the UK alone.
