Middlesex University chooses Spinnaker

Following a five-way pitch, we have been appointed, to create a new undergraduate brand recruitment campaign for Middlesex University. Spinnaker is tasked with originating a new creative campaign designed to create cut-through in a saturated advertising space and connect with students on a more emotional level.

Our campaign aims to project positive messages about the developments that have taken place over recent years in terms of Middlesex’s strong focus on research, employability and an outstanding student experience. The media is being handled by McCann Birmingham.

The campaign will aim to raise awareness of the full range of courses available at Middlesex University and will target undergraduates looking for 2016 entry. Activity is due to roll out across press, outdoor and online in April, when prospective students start looking at their university options.

Over the last few years Middlesex University has invested significant sums in research, campus development and new courses. The message is about changing perceptions and inviting prospect undergraduates, teachers and parents to ‘re-discover’ Middlesex.
